America's #SyrianRefugees Burden and why Democrats & Republicans wont take responsibility
Let me first say that in no way shape or form do I support the proposal by GOP Presidential candidate Donald J Trump to ban all Muslims from immigrating to the US. I believe that our immigration system is indeed broken and that we should indeed halt immigration including the various visa programs until the federal government can overhaul the system to not only provide better background/vetting processes for any and all foreigners wishing to enter our country. However as GOP Presidential Candidate and Senator Rand Paul has proposed that we should not have a religious test but an analytical approach that places a moratorium on all immigration from countries known to have high levels of terrorist activity. YES, the majority of the countries would be from the Middle East.
Lets face facts here, The United States has been meddling in the affairs of the Middle East from protecting Israel to overthrowing governments in Iran to disposing of dictators from Libya to Iraq since the 1950's. We have to be willing to first understand that in order to understand why we are being sought after by extremist groups. If we cannot come to that conclusion, then anything we do whether that be Rand Paul's sound idea or blindly destroy the very fabric of this nation by imposing a religious test for immigration will be all for nothing and only contribute to the already budding problems we face today in 2015. Democrats AND Republicans in DC are addicted to war and both sides have come together in this unholy alliance and decided that we are to interfere in yet another middle east country. This time Syria is the target. Then people are surprised when our President who has made it crystal clear from the beginning of his term that he would fundamentally transform America, brings in refugees of a war that the US has not declared on but obviously has fed by providing weapons and other forms of arms to both sides of the civil war in ISIS with contradictory goals of either helping or disposing of Assad.
The average person, thanks to the fear mongering from the likes of Fox News and militant "conservative" talk radio hosts. have seen this latest wave of refugees as nothing but a threat to their way of life and the frenzy is such that they are supporting a life long liberal that wants to use fascism to ban all Muslim immigration to the United States.
The problem here is on many fronts. For starters, the United States is 18 Trillion dollars in debt... Where is there money to take in these refugees? You know they aren't coming with funds in tow. Secondly, Why should tax payers be on the hook for bringing these people in who many are males of young fighting age who wouldn't even stay to protect their own homeland? I got a bigger question, why aren't these refugees being quartered at the houses of liberals that want to welcome them into this country at the taxpayers expense with little to no scrutiny? Why aren't the refugees being quartered at the homes of Republican neo-cons who thirst for war and are for the removal of Assad from power in Syria? Further more, why aren't these people willing to take personal responsibility for their actions since their political ideological beliefs lead them to support actions that lead to their displacement.
There is plenty to blame on both sides of the isles for the burdens that are brought to the United States due to the influx of Syrian refugees and its a burden that will be felt for the foreseeable future. What will NOT solve anything however, is the dismantling of our Constitutional Rights whether that be from the Liberal front in their relentless pursuit to insist that SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED means "Ok lets limit your arms capability", or whether that be from the far right wing that says "Lets Ban All Muslims", "Lets bug and raid ALL Mosques without search warrants".

Why You Shouldn't Vote For #RandPaul
I thought I would provide a short guide for deciding if you should support and vote for Rand Paul if you are still on the fence about the US Senator from Kentucky.
If you oppose Congress formally declaring war on our enemies as Article I Section 8 of the US Constitution says, then you should not vote for Rand Paul.
If you oppose Republicans reaching out to Democrat strongholds and spreading the value of liberty and constitutional adherence to inner cities and youth, then you should not vote for Rand Paul.
If you oppose Congress actually reading the bills they vote on and allowing the public to read the bills in full before they are actually voted on into law, then you should not vote for Rand Paul.
If you oppose Government allowing you the individual to decide what is best for you to consume and partake in as far as illicit substances are concerned, then you should not vote for Rand Paul.
If you oppose ensuring that our borders are secure, then you should not vote for Rand Paul.
If you oppose efforts to end Domestic Warrant-less spying on American Citizens, then you should not vote for Rand Paul.
If you oppose efforts to end Unconstitutional Indefinite Detention of Americans, then you should not vote for Rand Paul.
If you support Congress giving up more and more of their Constitutional Power to the Executive Branch, then you should not vote for Rand Paul.
If you support special interest groups financially benefiting from the blood of our American Soldiers fighting overseas, then you should not vote for Rand Paul.
If you support continuing to allow non-violent offenders to be kept from voting, then you should not vote for Rand Paul.
If you support mandatory minimums for non violent drug offenses that often are longer than murder and rape offenses, then you should not vote for Rand Paul.
If you support the continued devaluation of our American Dollar through endless Federal Reserve QE's and artificially low interest rates, then you should not vote for Rand Paul.
If you support giving up Civil Liberties for Security, then you should not vote for Rand Paul.
As the race to the November 2016 election for President continues, it is becoming clearer by the day who is in the GOP race as a defender of the US Constitution, and who is in it for power and establishment acceptance. It is becoming clearer who truly has the people's back. More importantly, with the ever growing presence of social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc. it is becoming clearer how we have come to the point in our nation with politicians that have become completely disconnected from the US Constitution, and that is because many Americans have become disconnected from the US Constitution.

#LGBT #FairnessOrdinances are Shams and This is Why
For the last several years, June has been deemed "LGBT month". Now before you go one step further, you should realize that the remainder of my thoughts here are not out of malice for Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, and Trans-gendered people, they are out of grave concern. You see, Liberals and Big Government supporters have once again successfully divided Americans, this time it isn't about Race whether it be Black versus White or White vs Brown etc., it is about Sexually "Straight People" versus Everybody else. These big government busy bodies across our country like the case of herpes are spreading their wild fear mongering and their false claims of compassion and their false claims of illegal discrimination. They claim that if you don't rent to someone or evict someone from YOUR Property because you do not like their chosen lifestyle, that you have wronged them, that you have oppressed them, that you have DISCRIMINATED! They claim that as an employer, if you don't hire someone or choose to fire someone based on their chosen lifestyle that you have committed an act of hate and that you should be fined and/or jailed over it. They claim that as a private business owner if you refuse service in part or whole to any people who they deem to be oppressed/held back by the usual "Straight White Christian" that you should be put out of business by the government and that person discriminated against be made obscenely wealthy.
In my state of Kentucky, Midway a city between Georgetown and Frankfort, decided they would be the latest to jump on the "Fair Ordinance" bandwagon. It is crystal clear that since this is the month of June once again declared LGBT Month that they saw fit to take advantage of the media publicity that they knew they would get by passing a completely unnecessary and completely politically motivated policy that further infringes on the rights of the private property/business owner. The ordinance passed because there wasn't enough people there with the courage to stand up and say that it is not necessary. That there is no widespread problem with "discrimination". There weren't enough people to stand up and say that they are sick and tired of council members/legislators using entire groups of people which by far and large nationwide have never experienced even a single denial of their true constitutional rights to further advance their political ambitions, their political careers.
Supporters of these fad ordinances would immediately accuse you of being a "bigot" if you dared to oppose the ordinances. Supporters would immediately claim that this is every much a part of the civil rights movement from the 60's. Supporters would immediately claim that without such ordinance in place that the scarce number of LGBT in Midway would immediately be subject to inhumane behavior and would not receive any protections. These ordinances are nothing more than another layer of bureaucracy to get in the way of private business/property owners of simply trying to live their lives as they see fit. It is a bureaucracy that justifies the continued existence of Human Rights Commissions to already beleaguered taxpayers. It is the direct contradiction of what it truly means to treat people equally and allow people freedom of choice. It is a direct contradiction of what it means to truly be a free American in 2015. It is also a slap in the face of every single individual claiming LGBT that simply want to be left alone to be able to find their own place and people in society.
Not in the Bill of Rights, not in the entire US Constitution will you see any mention of having a job or renting housing or anything else or having a cake or anything else made by someone else as a federally enshrined Constitutional Right. These irrational and often sycophantic supporters of these ordinances often rely on dogmas such as portraying their opposition as hateful bigoted micro aggressors. They often deem it necessary to portray the LGBT as helpless and perpetual victims that need the coercive hand of government to validate them, protect them, redeem them. They habitually refuse to pay any respect to what these ordinances do to private business/property owners because they are the ones that are not institutionalized to blindly follow the government's will. They are the ones that often remain a beacon of hope to ALL of the concept of Hard Work, of Loyalty, of FAMILY.
These leeches of American Dreams only care about one and only one thing, and that is GOVERNMENT! This is yet another one of their divide and conquer strategies to keep people distracted from those who are truly usurping their natural authority, their power over the government, and wealth earned. YOU must decide for yourself if you are going to continue to fall into the trap set forth by your TRUE OPPRESSORS, or if you are going to stand side by side with the likes of me in demanding that TRUE EQUALITY be respected to the LGBT of our country by allowing them to experience the burdens of society, to find their own, to earn their place, to not be encompassed into a box by people who care nothing for them. WILL YOU STAND WITH ME!

#GOP The Truth Hurts: Its Time To Admit Faults And Move On!
Today we saw Republican Senator and US Candidate Rand Paul continue to take a stand for the
truth. Today we saw Rand Paul tell the country that the War Hawks in the Republican Party
HELPED create ISIS to what it is today! Today we saw the continued repercussions on President Ronald Reagan's Commandment of not saying anything bad about other fellow republicans. Make no mistake, Senator Paul is a republican running as a republican for the republican nomination. He has never minced words, told you something just because it sounds good to blow smoke up your rear. He has never been one to toe the political party line just so that he doesn't rock the boat.
""Graham would say ISIS exists because of people like Rand Paul who said, 'Let's not go into Syria.' What do you say to Lindsey?" said Scarborough.
"I would say it's exactly the opposite. ISIS exists and grew stronger because of the hawks in our party who gave arms indiscriminately, and most of those arms were snatched up by ISIS," said Paul. "These hawks also wanted to bomb Assad, which would have made ISIS's job even easier. They created these people.""
This came from a WeeklyStandard post on their website
http://m.weeklystandard.com/blogs/rand-says-republicans-created-isis_956730.html
Of course if you read the Headline alone and formed an opinion, one would be upset with what Senator Paul had to say. Of course this headline was crafted in a manner which to generate outrage toward Senator Paul in the wake of his courageous attempts to block any renewal of the Patriot Act which is set to expire on June 1. Once you actually read and view the video included with the article post, you will actually see that Rand Paul did not say that Republicans created ISIS. He said that the WAR HAWKS in the Republican party HELPED!! Not only did he segment those in the party that he believed contributed, but also said that they were just a part of it. Once taken into context that the discussion revolved around the Republican party and the words WAR HAWKS and HELPED, you see that not only is the headline misleading, but that the outrage displayed on Twitter this morning shows just how ingrained War is to many in the GOP Voting base. It showed that we still have not learned our lesson about why its important for Congress to Declare War as Article I Section 8 dictates. We still have not learned our lesson about global militarism even after witnessing the fall of the USSR in the early 90s as a result of them fighting in Afghanistan. It shows that we are still falling in the trap of Big Government Cronyism.
Whether you believe that going into Iran in 2003 was warranted or not is irrelevant. What is relevant today is that ISIS is stronger today than ever before. Emboldened by weapons that the War Hawks gave to the Syrian Rebels which they either submitted to ISIS in cowardice or became turncoats to the cause. They are emboldened by a weak US President who is unwilling to Declare War on them,(Senator Rand Paul is the only US Senator to actually propose a Declaration of War against ISIS)
Now we see the likes of Governor Jindal of Louisiana taking his Neo-Con stabs at Senator Paul because he wants to impress upon a base that still believes in the narrative that we won Iraq and that Obama gave it back. Even going as far as to lay claim to the failed 2013 rhetoric that Senator Paul is to the Left of Obama on Foreign Policy.
Republicans need to stop worshiping War. They need to recognize that the "War on Terror" has been a wholesale dismal failure resulting in the infringement of Constitutional Liberties, in the deaths of THOUSANDS of US Soldiers and innocents overseas, and added to our already crippling debt. Republicans need to be adults here in the political arena since Democrats for the most part are not interested and admit that Rand Paul is absolutely right. That continuing the same path promoted by the War Hawks of the Republican AND Democrat Parties is a path which will continue to further embolden and empower ISIS. GET OVER YOUR FEELINGS!
Oh and one more thing. Just how many of you bellyaching about what Rand Paul said today were complaining when virtually the entire Party Abandoned Rand Paul during his 10.5 hour filibuster of the Patriot Act renewal? Just how many of you took to social media and condemned the likes of Ted Cruz, of Mike Lee, of Rep. Peter King, of Lindsay Graham, of John McCain, when they took their turns skewering your Constitutional Rights all in the name of "National Security". When they told you that you aren't important enough to be told about so called threats to justify the furthered surveillance state.

#Twitter Milestone REACHED
Id like to take this moment from handing liberals their dumbass asses to announce that earlier this evening, I went over 1000 followers on my IrvinePatriot account on there. This is a great achievement for me and I want to thank each and every one of my followers and I want to thank each and every one of you for reading my blog. Its trying sometimes to continue being a loud consistent voice for Constitutional Conservativism but its moments like this that lets me know that its working and its all worth it. THANK YOU!!

A Rational Student's View of #EKU's Over Reaction to Shooting Threat
As stated in a previous post, I am what is considered on EKU's campus as an OWL or older, wiser, learner. I am a non traditional student pursuing my Bachelors Degree. Being an OWL and a believer of the Conservative/Libertarian political ideology or "Conservatarian" if you will has me looking at this entire threat that is supposed to come to fruition on EKU's campus in Richmond, KY. from a mature, rational, realistic point of view. For those that do not know, the following was written in big letters on a bathroom stall in the Combs building on campus last week. "BRINGING GUNS TO HERE 2/11/15 DEAD STUDENTS. While it is not your typical graffiti garbage that you would find or even the occasional threat written on the walls of a bathroom stall, it is a vague threat.
To understand where I am about to go with this, we have to understand the psychological make up of the USA right after 9/11. We were angry, scared, and blood thirsty for revenge. We were so blinded by ambition that we lost sight on what actually took place. It wasn't just hijacked planes that crashed into the World Trade Center Towers, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania. It was a direct attack on our senses. Our sense of security, destroyed. We seemed to have lost that day the notion that we were too big and powerful to be attacked. But perhaps what damaged us more so than the physical terror attack, than the amount of lives lost, than the financial repercussions of losing the World Trade Center, was how we far too easily gave up our constitutional rights, our freedoms, our liberties. We fell for one of the oldest political tricks in the book. We allowed something called "The Patriot Act" to be passed and thought this was going to help us reclaim our security and punish those who attacked us. But 13 years later, all we have as a result is more debt, more infringements of our liberty and freedom. We then took a direct hit again when the federal government established the Department of Homeland Security. Again, we fell for the oldest political trick in the book. We allowed congress to pass liberty robbing debt accumulating legislation all packaged up with a name that couldn't possibly be debated in the realm of political correctness. The very attempt would draw sharp criticism in the media, 'How could you possibly be against Homeland Security' just as 'How could you possibly be against "The Patriot Act." If that wasn't enough, we were then subjected to the creation of the TSA. This unconstitutional arm of the federal government took over airport security. The TSA introduced to the mainstream the notion that you must be willing to be physically fondled by federal employees in order to prove that you are an innocent civilian merely looking to fly to see Grandma before she dies. Even little boys and girls and Grandpa's in wheelchairs were not immune to being fondled in a manner that if you or I did that to someone on the street would be cause for us to be thrown in jail for sex crimes and be outcasts of society for the rest of our lives.
What am I driving at? Simply this, we must NEVER sacrifice one ounce of liberty for any amount of promised security from government. Yet even to attend classes on campus during a regular day requires that I sacrifice one very BIG Constitutional right. That is my Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. In the Commonwealth of Kentucky, I am permitted by license to conceal carry deadly weapons including of course firearms. However EKU and other education institutions have decided that they do not want people exercising that particular freedom on campus. To illustrate how delusional this is, EKU is one of the biggest training facilities in the state for training Law Enforcement Officers. Also EKU is lucky to have a Kentucky State National Guard facility near by which encourages those seeking ROTC programs to attend EKU. I often see these fine men and women walking campus in full uniforms. You cannot possibly tell me that our campus would not be safer if we allowed these people to conceal carry on campus. One of the biggest reasons in my humblest of opinions and already have been echoed by more than one professor on campus is that this threat is the product of a dense unarmed population as a result of EKU's Weapons policy. The simple psychology is this, criminals or those seeking to commit a crime, especially for the first time will ALWAYS choose a victim they know is unarmed over one that they either know or don't know to be armed.
Tomorrow is the 11th which will mark the day set by the deviant who wrote that threat. Some professors have already called off their classes for tomorrow. Students have expressed that they will not be on campus at all or at the least be staying in their dorms all day tomorrow. This was not spurred by the threat. This was spurred by EKU's President Benson who publicly announced that any student, staff, faculty that did not feel safe coming on to campus on the 11th could stay away without any consequences. Not only does President Benson make as much if not more than the President of the United States, but with that declaration shared President Obama's affinity for giving in to the enemy, to give in to terror threats. This will no doubt be repeated by the next deviant who seeks to bring a new wave of fear and a free day off once this even subsides. Please stay tuned to this blog and make sure to follow me on Twitter @ IrvinePatriot for live updates as I will be on campus tomorrow and documenting any instances where I see constitutional rights violations above and beyond what normally takes place on this campus. Oh and one more thing, I AM NOT AFRAID, I AM NOT SCARED, I DO NOT GIVE IN TO THREATS!
