The Lone #RandPaul Vote

Yesterday I participated with both of my parents in Kentucky's first Republican Presidential Caucus.  We had to go to Jackson County about 30 miles away from where we live in Estill County to participate.  While it was an inconvenience, it was exciting.  It would turn out that Donald Trump would win the Kentucky Caucus.  However, one big thing caught my eye!  On an interactive map from WKYT.com I was able to find out that I had cast the only vote for sitting Senator Rand Paul in the entire county.  Out of hundreds that participated, I was the only one to cast a vote for the most principled defender of our US Constitution on the ballot.  Yes Dr. Paul had suspended his presidential campaign in the 24 hours following the Iowa Caucus, but he was the only individual on that ballot deserving of my vote.  I have always believed that standing on your principles meant doing so in successes, in failures, and when you are all alone.  I was truly all alone in voting for Senator Rand Paul.

I am not ashamed of my vote, nor am I going to feel anything but proud of my lone stance.  I have believed in Senator Rand Paul before he was ever elected.  He was the very first politician I ever came across that was genuine, REAL.  He was the first person that didnt promise me things or tell me things I wanted to hear for the sake of a vote.  He was the reason I came to be a strong supporter of the US Constitution and strive for Liberty and Freedom.  He was the reason I evolved from just being a regular Republican.  I stand with Rand Paul.  I will always stand with Rand Paul.  Even when Im Alone, and I just proved it.

Senator #RandPaul Suspends Campaign for President

This morning, Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky suspended his campaign to be the Republican Party nominee for President.  He will now concentrate on retaining his US Senate seat which is up for grabs this year.  What does this mean for the remaining GOP field.  NOTHING GOOD!!  We got a glimpse of what the remaining field has to say on the issues when Rand Paul boycotted the second to last Debate before the Iowa Caucus.  We witnessed a debate that was without true fiscal and constitutional conservative messages.  We witnessed a debate that was full of fear peddling and war mongering.  We witnessed a debate that only promises to continue the Status Quo of deficit federal government spending and national debt increases.  We witnessed a debate that was void of defense of the entire bill of rights.  What we witnessed was the foreshadowing of things to come.  Without Rand Paul in the GOP race, all hope of beating a Hillary Clinton or a Bernie Sanders has diminished.

I want to thank Senator Rand Paul for being the only sane voice on the GOP stage.  For being the rational consistent voice of liberty.  For being the only voice on that stage that gave our youth hope for a better future.  For recognizing the unholy alliance in DC between big Military spending conservatives and Big Domestic Welfare spending liberals.  The Liberty movement will not cease and desist because the Establishment says so.  Rand will not be our next President, but he isnt going away.  Neither am I.

Republican Conservatives should be OUTRAGED at Senate Absenteeism by Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio

Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz have missed quite a bit of Senate votes in 2015 because of campaigning to be the Republican Party nominee for office. Senator Rubio attributed his absenteeism to basically saying his job is irrelevant. Note that he says his job is irrelevant but not his pay! Ted Cruz continues to refuse to address the issue. In the CNBC debate last year, Rubio basically took the position that since the media didnt crucify Senator Barack Obama for missing votes in the Senate that he shouldn’t be getting the questions now. Conservatives typically hold the position that people that have jobs should show up to work to do their job. They typically also hold that position to a higher level when it comes to elected politicians paid by the tax payers. So why the silence on the issue? Why would conservatives continue to accept an elected official or in this case two elected officials running for the nations highest office to be so derelict in their duties? The answer remains to be seen, but my extremely unpopular opinion on this is simply, Conservatives over the years have become much more aligned with their Liberal counterparts than either care to realize.

Senator Rand Paul also running for the Republican Nomination said it best in a recent ABC interview. “Tax payers are paying me, I figure I should do my job”.

America's #SyrianRefugees Burden and why Democrats & Republicans wont take responsibility

Let me first say that in no way shape or form do I support the proposal by GOP Presidential candidate Donald J Trump to ban all Muslims from immigrating to the US.  I believe that our immigration system is indeed broken and that we should indeed halt immigration including the various visa programs until the federal government can overhaul the system to not only provide better background/vetting processes for any and all foreigners wishing to enter our country.  However as GOP Presidential Candidate and Senator Rand Paul has proposed that we should not have a religious test but an analytical approach that places a moratorium on all immigration from countries known to have high levels of terrorist activity.  YES, the majority of the countries would be from the Middle East.

Lets face facts here, The United States has been meddling in the affairs of the Middle East from protecting Israel to overthrowing governments in Iran to disposing of dictators from Libya to Iraq since the 1950's.  We have to be willing to first understand that in order to understand why we are being sought after by extremist groups. If we cannot come to that conclusion, then anything we do whether that be Rand Paul's sound idea or blindly destroy the very fabric of this nation by imposing a religious test for immigration will be all for nothing and only contribute to the already budding problems we face today in 2015.  Democrats AND Republicans in DC are addicted to war and both sides have come together in this unholy alliance and decided that we are to interfere in yet another middle east country.  This time Syria is the target.  Then people are surprised when our President who has made it crystal clear from the beginning of his term that he would fundamentally transform America, brings in refugees of a war that the US has not declared on but obviously has fed by providing weapons and other forms of arms to both sides of the civil war in ISIS with contradictory goals of either helping or disposing of Assad.

The average person, thanks to the fear mongering from the likes of Fox News and militant "conservative" talk radio hosts. have seen this latest wave of refugees as nothing but a threat to their way of life and the frenzy is such that they are supporting a life long liberal that wants to use fascism to ban all Muslim immigration to the United States.

The problem here is on many fronts.  For starters, the United States is 18 Trillion dollars in debt... Where is there money to take in these refugees?  You know they aren't coming with funds in tow.  Secondly, Why should tax payers be on the hook for bringing these people in who many are males of young fighting age who wouldn't even stay to protect their own homeland?  I got a bigger question, why aren't these refugees being quartered at the houses of liberals that want to welcome them into this country at the taxpayers expense with little to no scrutiny?  Why aren't the refugees being quartered at the homes of Republican neo-cons who thirst for war and are for the removal of Assad from power in Syria?  Further more, why aren't these people willing to take personal responsibility for their actions since their political ideological beliefs lead them to support actions that lead to their displacement.

There is plenty to blame on both sides of the isles for the burdens that are brought to the United States due to the influx of Syrian refugees and its a burden that will be felt for the foreseeable future.  What will NOT solve anything however, is the dismantling of our Constitutional Rights whether that be from the Liberal front in their relentless pursuit to insist that SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED means "Ok lets limit your arms capability", or whether that be from the far right wing that says "Lets Ban All Muslims", "Lets bug and raid ALL Mosques without search warrants".

#BlackLivesMatter Mafia Strikes Again

The President of the University of Missouri has resigned today in response to protests from grown children who were offended by various words and imagery on campus.  Someone even went as far as to go on a hunger strike.  The shameful football team even went on strike so to speak.  The NCAA should investigate their activities to see if their absence from team activities violated regulations.  Yes Im pissed off because Im sick and tired of seeing grown ass children whining and crying about how offended they are and always playing the victim.  Universities are supposed to be for adults seeking a higher learning degree, not for overgrown children to whine and complain about being offended...Where are the cries for "Open Mindedness"?  Oh that's right, its just a disillusioned weapon in the quiver of political correctness and cultural Marxism.  The President showed great cowardice in resigning since he promoted the message that someone else is always to blame for when people are offended aka unable to control their emotions.  This continues to be the goal of the Black Lives Matter Mafia, making sure whitey pays for the actions of other people, especially if they are wealthy and/or in positions of power.

The #GOP "Infighting" and Why It Must Go On!

In recent weeks since Donald J Trump announced that he was running for President, he has made controversial comments about Illegal Immigrants and most recently about Arizona Senator John McCain.  There is no shortage of opinions both favoring and disapproving of Trump's comments.  The common theme to come out of this is pleas on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook for the GOP to stop the "Infighting" and to unite against the Democratic Party and its agenda.  We saw this plea in both the 2008 Presidential race that saw the GOP nominate Arizona Senator John McCain, and even more so in the 2012 Presidential race in which Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney was handed the nomination.  Of course the GOP lost both of these Presidential Elections to Democrat Barack Obama.  Both years featured pushes by what is known today as the Tea Party.  Both years the GOP pleaded with the Tea Party to stop the "infighting".  Many in the GOP still feel that these two individuals still represent the finest conservatives in the party.  Many more however feel that these candidates of the the past represented moderate republican/democratic-lite positions which led to the lack of voter turn out in 2008 and 2012.

Infighting in my humblest opinion is precisely what the GOP needs if it ever hopes to carve out a real identity for its self in a toxic political atmosphere which people increasingly believe that both political parties are complicit and in cahoots with one another to continue to divide the masses on issues like Abortion, Gay Marriage, Illegal Immigration, Healthcare, etc.  It is without little doubt that the Republican Party of today simply does not represent Conservatives that value our US Constitution.  Americans (myself included) are fed up with the theatrics that play out over the Mainstream Media outlets like Fox News and CNN and MSNBC that portray Democratic Party members disagreeing with Republican Party members but when the votes are counted and one bad law/bill after the other is passed in both houses of congress and signed into law by our President, it shows that they are more in agreement than not.  18 Trillion Dollars of Debt shows that there is no problem with the two parties wasting our tax dollars and spending more than it takes in.

Political races in this nation have always brought out the worst in people.  Even before TV and the Internet, Politicians used newspapers and local leaflets were used to spread negative views of  their opponents.  Even today politicians still pretend to be outraged when their competition reveals something publicly from their past that is either a lie or an inconvenient truth.  The cries for the "infighting" to end is merely nothing more but an attempt to silence dissent from those who are like me tired of the establishment.  It would be as foolish to stop the infighting today as it was in 2008 and 2012.  It would be like telling John Calipari to stop recruiting the best players in the nation and expecting UK Basketball to remain the pinnacle of College Basketball.  Choosing a nominee to represent your political party for the seat of the presidency should not be easy.  This period of time is not the time for unity, its a time for war......May the best Man or Woman prevail!
