The Lone #RandPaul Vote
Yesterday I participated with both of my parents in Kentucky's first Republican Presidential Caucus. We had to go to Jackson County about 30 miles away from where we live in Estill County to participate. While it was an inconvenience, it was exciting. It would turn out that Donald Trump would win the Kentucky Caucus. However, one big thing caught my eye! On an interactive map from WKYT.com I was able to find out that I had cast the only vote for sitting Senator Rand Paul in the entire county. Out of hundreds that participated, I was the only one to cast a vote for the most principled defender of our US Constitution on the ballot. Yes Dr. Paul had suspended his presidential campaign in the 24 hours following the Iowa Caucus, but he was the only individual on that ballot deserving of my vote. I have always believed that standing on your principles meant doing so in successes, in failures, and when you are all alone. I was truly all alone in voting for Senator Rand Paul.

I am not ashamed of my vote, nor am I going to feel anything but proud of my lone stance. I have believed in Senator Rand Paul before he was ever elected. He was the very first politician I ever came across that was genuine, REAL. He was the first person that didnt promise me things or tell me things I wanted to hear for the sake of a vote. He was the reason I came to be a strong supporter of the US Constitution and strive for Liberty and Freedom. He was the reason I evolved from just being a regular Republican. I stand with Rand Paul. I will always stand with Rand Paul. Even when Im Alone, and I just proved it.

Kentucky's First Republican Presidential Caucus on Saturday March 5th
Tomorrow March 5th will be for Kentucky Republicans the opportunity to participate in the state's first ever Presidential Caucus. Until 2016, Kentucky voters in either party voted for their choice of party nominee for President along with the primary candidates of state and local offices in May. However thanks to a questionable statute in Kentucky's Constitution and the efforts of Senator Rand Paul to run for both President and seek re-election as US Senator, republican voters of the commonwealth will get the opportunity to have more of a voice in who becomes the National Republican Party nominee for President. Question many ask is why does this presidential caucus give voters more of a voice? By the time May comes around, the GOP already has a clear front runner and candidates simply do not bother with coming to Kentucky to campaign. This election cycle is different. Having a March caucus allows Kentucky Republicans to have more of an impact on the choice of nominees and candidates have had to come to Kentucky to speak to voters. Obviously with this being the first ever caucus in Kentucky, there will be problems, there will be issues, questions, misunderstandings, and frustrations. Take my situation for example. I live in one of nine counties of the 120 counties that does not have a caucus location. This is due to my county simply not having a republican party apparatus in place to organize and staff and approve of a location for voters. I am having to drive to an adjacent Jackson County in order to participate. Perhaps this will spark individuals in my county to revive the presence of a Republican Party organization in Estill County. It is my hope that republicans of this Commonwealth will seize this first time opportunity to have an impact on a national election.

Why Senator #TedCruz Will NOT Be the 2016 #GOP Nominee
Texas Senator Ted Cruz won the Iowa Caucus on Monday February 1st. However, I would not necessarily bet on Senator Cruz winning the GOP nomination. My reasons may be considered by some to be out in left field, but hear me out. The Republican voters of Iowa have a horrible track record of voting for those unsuited for the GOP Nomination. Take the last 2 election cycles going back to 2008. Mike Huckabee in 2008 and Rick Santorum in 2012 both won the Iowa Caucus popular vote. However, neither of them even came close to winning the GOP nomination. It was Senator Cruz's fear peddling, war-mongering, religious zealotry that won the caucus goers over. It was the same tactic used by Santorum and Huckabee in 2012 and 2008 respectively.
Today, in 2016, Americans have worn thin of the obviously failed "War on Terror" that has been going on since the 2002 invasion of Iraq. After more than 10 years of undeclared foreign conflicts that have sent thousands of our bravest men and women back home in body bags, Americans are not thirsty for war. The blood lust that was fresh after 9/11 has all but disappeared. Our Youth today that side with the likes of Bernie Sanders and Rand Paul will NEVER vote for the likes of Ted Cruz. Thanks to the internet and social media, Senator Cruz cannot hide the fact that he has on many occasions stolen talking points from Senator Rand Paul and attempted to claim leadership over movements such as de-funding planned parenthood and audit the fed. After missing the Audit the Fed vote on January 12th, any true liberty minded conservative voter gave up their respect they had for Cruz.
What is becoming more apparent by the day is that Senator Cruz will use any sneaky tactic he can to gain an advantage including sending out mailers that attempt to shame voters for not participating in past caucuses, claiming that Dr. Ben Carson was ending his campaign, and flip flopping his position on Edward Snowden to get votes. This will soon bite him in the rear and may do so as soon as the New Hampshire primary coming up. His constant preaching about how Godly he is and how he wants to carpet bomb ISIS and make the sands glow will not be welcome in other primaries as it was in Iowa.
What is also becoming clearer is how arrogant Ted Cruz really is. He took the position that he was the rightful heir of the Ron Paul vote. How asinine do you really have to be to believe that as long as Ron Paul's son Rand Paul is running in the race that someone else will be the heir to his votes? After last night's victory, The Cruz camp boasted that Cruz got a record number of Caucus votes. Its as if he seriously believes the record turn out was because of him.
Every GOP nominee has been able to work with the majority of congress to get things accomplished in DC. Perhaps even more so than Ron Paul, Ted Cruz can't work with anyone in DC to get anything done. His antics on the Senate floor calling Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell a "Liar" is just an example of the unwelcome attitude he has presented in DC. The difference between Ron Paul and Ted Cruz here is that Ron Paul never broke decorum to make his points. Ron stood on unwavering principles to hold the fiscal/constitutional line. Senator Cruz also has a very big problem and its the same problem Senator Rubio has. That problem is his poor Senate attendance record. Cruz has taken the position that if a vote isnt close or will politically favor him, that he will simply not show up to work. Iowans might not care that Cruz and Rubio have chosen to run for a promotion instead of doing the work they take tax money to do, but that simply wont work in other primary states.
In the final GOP debate prior to the Iowa Caucus, Ted Cruz resembled more of a cry baby than a defacto front runner on stage after Donald Trump decided to boycott. Complaining about panel questions and even getting into it with a moderator because his name was mentioned in a question and wanted to respond even though there was no debate rules allowing for such. It was also exposed through video evidence that Ted Cruz flip flopped on his positions on Amnesty.
In conclusion, Senator Cruz better enjoy this victory, because if historical trends hold true, he will not get the GOP Nomination. IF and this is a big IF, if Cruz is some how the GOP Nominee, he will lose embarrassingly to either Hillary Clinton, or if she is indicted, Senator Sanders. THAT, is my unapologetic opinion!

#TedCruz #MarcoRubio Two #GOP Senator Candidates with Sad Excuses
This election cycle for the GOP has been so bizarre. I honestly did not think it was possible for the race for the GOP nomination to be any more bizarre than Donald J. Trump running as a republican. That was topped by Trump being at the top of the polls for nearly his entire run thanks to the media welfare given to him by the likes of Fox News and CNN. This GOP race has taken yet another bizarre twist. Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, Florida and Texas respectively, have both been missing a lot of work in the Senate. Cruz slightly less so than Rubio in votes missed. Perhaps what makes this most bizarre is their reason behind the absenteeism. They both claim that their votes don’t count and why show up to work if you know you are going to lose the vote. I mean how pathetic and defeatist does an elected official have to be to reach that position. They have both not only reached that position, but they are running for a promotion! How many of you can miss out on your job to the tune of 15–25% of the time and then go to your boss and ask for a promotion or even keep your job while seeking another with higher pay? Its simply not reality in your world and mine. However, in the world that Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio live in, which is insider Washington DC., it not only is plausible but flat out unchallenged. Not even the likes of Rush Limbaugh or Mark Levin who have made their name as exposing Washington corruption and calling out the establishment have been remarkably silent on this issue. It blows my mind to see everyday on social media the fact that fans of either of these candidates are not only noncritical of this behavior, but they flat out encourage it. To me its a window into the ethics of those voters. It tells me that they simply do not care about actual change and reform that would benefit everyone, they only care about change that benefits them. It tells me that they are not versed in scratching beneath the surface of the sound bite rhetoric emanated from these two. As long as certain buzzwords are spoke, that is all that is necessary to lure and keep these people satisfied. Nothing else matters.

Post Kentucky Election Analysis
Now that the elections in Kentucky are finished until March of 2016, I would like to offer my analysis. The main contest of course being for the Governor's seat. The polling since this past May showed that Jack Conway held the lead. This of course would cause one that took the polls to heart to be flabbergasted at what transpired last night. Matt Bevin the Republican won convincingly. It wasnt a landslide, but it was to the point where it couldn't even be contested. Democrats, which usually benefit from the presence of third party candidates, are already complaining that Independent Candidate Drew Curtis cost Jack Conway the election.
As you can see, even if everyone that voted for Drew Curtis voted for Jack Conway, it still would not have been near enough to close the gap. This is the age old and debunked argument that both parties have used to justify their continued attempts to discriminate against third party candidate challenges.
In other Kentucky election news, It was not all bad news for the Kentucky Democrat Party as Alison Lundergan Grimes keeps her seat.
Winning for the Democratic Party last night was Andy Beshear, son of exiting Governor Steve Beshear who claims he ran and won on his own merit but anyone with two brain cells to rub together would know otherwise. This would be the tightest race of the night as Beshear would win by approximately 2200 votes.
Other than those two offices, the Kentucky GOP ran the tables with the rest of the offices. Matt Bevin becomes only the second GOP Governor in the last 40 years. Sixty of the last sixty-eight years in Kentucky have been under a Democrat Governor. This begs the question, why has Kentucky seemingly made this transition toward a more conservative stance. Typically Kentucky has voted GOP when it comes to national seats like the President, Senator, US Representative, but usually has voted Democrat when it comes to state positions.
With Governor-Elect Matt Bevin set to take control, many pundits are already spreading widespread hysteria and apocalyptic warnings about the actions Matt Bevin wants to take. They are already warning users of KYNECT, the state instituted healthcare exchange, that Bevin wants to make people sick and kill them by taking their healthcare away from them. Just a disclaimer, I am one of those people that is registered for health insurance via KYNECT. They are already spreading fear about the state's pension program and Bevin's ideas about switching the state's pension program over to 401K type programs. People are already exclaiming that Bevin hates police, fire, and ems. This of course is a complete joke because Bevin is a Veteran and I havent ran across many if at all any veterans that dislike our Police, Fire, and EMS.
No doubt the election last night sent shock waves and messages to the political establishment throughout the state. However I think many are over exaggerating changes that are perceived. Matt Bevin might have promised a lot of things to get elected however, if I were a betting man, I would say that more than half of the changes he said he would make wont even be considered, and the other half would be spread out over the next 4 years. I guaranty you that he is already considering being re-elected in 2019.
Ill close with how I spent my evening last night. I chose to attend the post election party that Fark.com founder and CEO Independent Drew Curtis had in Lexington last night. It was fun with beer and good people just having a good ol time.

The #GOP Trump Factor
Ever since joining the GOP Race for the Presidency, Donald J Trump has been toward the top...Then at the Top of the polls... His obvious controversial comments about Illegal Immigrants has obviously struck a favorable chord with those in the Republican Party. Of course then came the circus freak show that was the first GOP debate in Cleveland Ohio by FoxNews. The unusual back and forth tension between Donald Trump and Megyn Kelly only served to invalidate the entire debate. The events that occurred after the Debate only served to thus far thrust the GOP race into the tabloid reality TV realm. Whether it was Trump's perceived comments about blood coming out of Megyn's wherever or whether it was Erick Erickson's revoking Trump's invite to the RedState gathering of 2015, or the Rosie O'Donnell spat about smearing period blood in people's faces.. Take your pick...All of these events have simply made for great entertainment television, but not good politics. Of course does all of the times Trump has sided with the Democrats matter? Does all the times Trump admitted to buying access to politicians for personal financial gain matter? Does all the times that Trump took up leftist positions on Abortion, Guns, Healthcare, Taxes, matter? Does all the times that Trump has switched parties matter? It should... But what we have seen from those I have personally labeled as "Trump Humpers" is nothing short of a pure repeat of what we saw during both of Obama's campaigns for the presidency..Pure unadulterated blind devotion with a side of vile hateful often racist behavior. Their desire for victory has clearly overshadowed their conservative values and can only be described as putting their Emotions over their Intelligence.. Of course this is only one step above Obama supporters which only have Emotions...
Then on the other side of the spectrum, you have the GOP Establishment pundits like George Will on Fox News telling people that Trump Supporters should join the rest of the GOP on the terms of the establishment...Not theirs... Of course this does absolutely nothing but make people support Trump even more. Every time that someone of notoriety comes out and publicly attacks Trump, He retorts with something to the affect of they are Stupid or they are slobs or they have no chance.. and his fan base eats it up with the fervor not seen since the height of Hitler's rise in Germany. Trump could cut the heads off of puppies and his fan base would cheer and take to social media with him holding the decapitated head declaring that he would be the leader that changes DC. Ann Coulter took to twitter declaring that she didn't care if Trump allowed abortions as long as he took to task his "Immigration Reform". This is precisely the sort of sycophant behavior that must not be allowed to continue to have influence in this race.
To Attack Trump or Not to Attack Trump....That my friends is the question... Many of Trump's beleaguered followers believe that Rand Paul has sunk in the polls as a result of his attacks on Trump at the Debate and afterward. Simultaneously, they also believe that Ted Cruz's rise in the polls are a result of his refusal to attack Trump. This in my humblest of opinions is hogwash because Rand Paul's numbers began to mysteriously drop after he came forward with his 14.5% Fair and Flat Tax plan. It wasnt because his plan was bad...It was because his plan was bad for the special interests that are best served by politicians that are easily bought and sold that influence those polling organizations. Both Trump and FoxNews released polling graphics of the first Iowa poll post Debate conducted by the CNN/ORC and they showed Rand Paul with 5%.....But They chose instead to show Jeb Bush who only polled at 4%. This is nothing new to Fox News because they did the exact same thing to Rand's father Ron when he ran in 2008 and 2012.
In conclusion, This GOP Race has been a complete disgrace thus far. As long as Donald Trump remains in the race, it will continue to be a complete disgrace. If you believe that Fox News hates Donald Trump, then I have some ocean front property in Arizona to sell.

The #GOP "Infighting" and Why It Must Go On!
In recent weeks since Donald J Trump announced that he was running for President, he has made controversial comments about Illegal Immigrants and most recently about Arizona Senator John McCain. There is no shortage of opinions both favoring and disapproving of Trump's comments. The common theme to come out of this is pleas on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook for the GOP to stop the "Infighting" and to unite against the Democratic Party and its agenda. We saw this plea in both the 2008 Presidential race that saw the GOP nominate Arizona Senator John McCain, and even more so in the 2012 Presidential race in which Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney was handed the nomination. Of course the GOP lost both of these Presidential Elections to Democrat Barack Obama. Both years featured pushes by what is known today as the Tea Party. Both years the GOP pleaded with the Tea Party to stop the "infighting". Many in the GOP still feel that these two individuals still represent the finest conservatives in the party. Many more however feel that these candidates of the the past represented moderate republican/democratic-lite positions which led to the lack of voter turn out in 2008 and 2012.
Infighting in my humblest opinion is precisely what the GOP needs if it ever hopes to carve out a real identity for its self in a toxic political atmosphere which people increasingly believe that both political parties are complicit and in cahoots with one another to continue to divide the masses on issues like Abortion, Gay Marriage, Illegal Immigration, Healthcare, etc. It is without little doubt that the Republican Party of today simply does not represent Conservatives that value our US Constitution. Americans (myself included) are fed up with the theatrics that play out over the Mainstream Media outlets like Fox News and CNN and MSNBC that portray Democratic Party members disagreeing with Republican Party members but when the votes are counted and one bad law/bill after the other is passed in both houses of congress and signed into law by our President, it shows that they are more in agreement than not. 18 Trillion Dollars of Debt shows that there is no problem with the two parties wasting our tax dollars and spending more than it takes in.
Political races in this nation have always brought out the worst in people. Even before TV and the Internet, Politicians used newspapers and local leaflets were used to spread negative views of their opponents. Even today politicians still pretend to be outraged when their competition reveals something publicly from their past that is either a lie or an inconvenient truth. The cries for the "infighting" to end is merely nothing more but an attempt to silence dissent from those who are like me tired of the establishment. It would be as foolish to stop the infighting today as it was in 2008 and 2012. It would be like telling John Calipari to stop recruiting the best players in the nation and expecting UK Basketball to remain the pinnacle of College Basketball. Choosing a nominee to represent your political party for the seat of the presidency should not be easy. This period of time is not the time for unity, its a time for war......May the best Man or Woman prevail!

2015 #KentuckyGovernor Blog Exclusive
On May 19th, Kentuckians will go to the polls to vote and one of those will be to determine who will be the Democratic and Republican party nominee for Governor. As I always encourage people to be well informed on the issues and the candidates, I wanted to put together a series of questions that were likely to not be part of any arranged debate or you would hear on TV/Radio. I extended invitations on social media to the four GOP Candidates of Matt Bevin, Hal Heiner, James Comer and Will T. Scott. What ended up happening was Drew Curtis an Independent party candidate saw my attempts and decided that he would offer to participate too, Very appreciative, I went ahead and sent him the same questions that I would have asked the others. As this week wore on, Hal Heiner's staff responded to me to send them the questions. Then Matt Bevin's staff contacted me to say they would like to participate as well. Will T Scott and James Comer never replied to my repeated requests. The deadline for participation in this blog post was 7pm EDT Today. As of writing this post, only Independent candidate Drew Curtis successfully submitted replies to the questions asked. This is disappointing because I wanted the readers especially those in Kentucky to see comparisons of responses in order to better distinguish differences between candidates. If Matt Bevin or Hal Heiner end up submitting responses they will be included in a later post. Without further ado, I will list each question along with Curtis' response.
1. The Second Amendment to the US Constitution is very clear that the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Question is where do you stand on individual states having laws on the books that infringe on the individual's right to keep and bear arms?
I'm big on separating "Issues" from solutions so let me take this one apart - the real problem is gun violence not guns. I am not aware of any workable US-based solutions to gun violence that involve infringing on individual's right to keep and bear arms.
This would effectively make me a second amendment advocate if we were just talking vanilla "issues". I'm explaining my thought process here because I want people to know I don't have stances, I've actually thought about these things.
A more effective way to prevent gun violence would be to deal with the root causes - starting with mental illness. Laws against guns have no impact on mental illness. I am not in favor of overly broad or ineffective laws.
What am I likely to see hit my desk from the legislature? I'm expecting no bills impacting gun ownership will escape the Senate. I'm not sure anyone even tried to file one in 2015? I would love for them to work on mental illness as an issue.
2. There are laws in the KRS that promote inequality as far as ballot access is concerned. For certain offices, Democrats and Republicans need only 2 votes to gain access to the ballot, all others need 5000 signatures to gain access to the ballot. What would you do as Governor to promote a remedy for this?
As the only candidate impacted by this, here is a bit of good news - initially I thought that having to get 5,000 signatures would be a burden, but it turns out it's actually been a useful way to engage people early in the process. It's not great, mind you, but it's not as bad as I thought.

I've been thinking a lot about this and I honestly don't know what a better set of guidelines would look like. Personally I'd start by talking to KET about why and how they produced their current list of rules to understand what they're trying to accomplish.

What would you as Governor do to protect the citizens of the Commonwealth of Kentucky from such political maneuvers that leaves citizens from having proper representation in Frankfort?
As Governor you must act within the law, and from a practical standpoint there is an item in the KY state constitution that prevents anyone from impeding the movement of a legislator during session. I only found out about this when a legislator used it to get out of a DUI this year. So we can't prevent what happened in Wisconsin from happening here. It's stupid but constitutional.
I would hope this specific example would take care of itself in the following election cycle - if voters have a problem with that kind of extreme behavior by legislators they can vote those individuals out of office. I would.
As for stopping other potential political maneuvers, I'd have to see what those look like first. That's not a dodge by the way, I don't think we can predict anything rising to that level.

Should private business owners not have the ability to decide for themselves if they want to allow smoking just as individual customers have the ability to decide if they want to enter an establishment that allows smoking? This is actually the same question - when should the government impose its will on a large group of people for the betterment of society? My answer is I'd rather avoid this whenever possible - but any discussions should involve all stakeholders up front.
The real question is -how- should we construct law? People ask me if I'm in favor of a Religious Freedom Act - my response is which one? Compare Indiana's to Utah's - they both do the same thing, but in Utah it started when the LDS church engaged the LGBT community and came up with wording amicable to all parties. Indiana's version had a loophole you could drive a truck through - namely "belief" being the requisite reason to do -anything- (which is impossible to prove) and requiring the state to provide a reason for having vested interest to stop you from doing it. Which among other things legalizes Sharia law and the Church of Cannabis, two things I guarantee the law's originators were not in favor of. Indiana wrote a law that sucked and had far-ranging unintended consequences baked in.

1. The Second Amendment to the US Constitution is very clear that the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Question is where do you stand on individual states having laws on the books that infringe on the individual's right to keep and bear arms?
I'm big on separating "Issues" from solutions so let me take this one apart - the real problem is gun violence not guns. I am not aware of any workable US-based solutions to gun violence that involve infringing on individual's right to keep and bear arms.
This would effectively make me a second amendment advocate if we were just talking vanilla "issues". I'm explaining my thought process here because I want people to know I don't have stances, I've actually thought about these things.
A more effective way to prevent gun violence would be to deal with the root causes - starting with mental illness. Laws against guns have no impact on mental illness. I am not in favor of overly broad or ineffective laws.
What am I likely to see hit my desk from the legislature? I'm expecting no bills impacting gun ownership will escape the Senate. I'm not sure anyone even tried to file one in 2015? I would love for them to work on mental illness as an issue.
2. There are laws in the KRS that promote inequality as far as ballot access is concerned. For certain offices, Democrats and Republicans need only 2 votes to gain access to the ballot, all others need 5000 signatures to gain access to the ballot. What would you do as Governor to promote a remedy for this?
As the only candidate impacted by this, here is a bit of good news - initially I thought that having to get 5,000 signatures would be a burden, but it turns out it's actually been a useful way to engage people early in the process. It's not great, mind you, but it's not as bad as I thought.

Upcoming #KentuckyGovernor Race Post
On May 19th, Kentucky will be heading to the polls and the state's top office will be on the ballot. I have contacted all 4 GOP Candidates of Matt Bevin, Hal Heiner, Jamie Comer, and Will T. Scott to see if they would be willing to participate in my blog entry on the race and so far none of them have replied yea or nay. However, Independent candidate Drew Curtis's staff saw my tweet and decided to respond to me which was a complete surprise to me. The State of #Blacks Today in #America vs #Slavery Days
President Obama would have you believe that Americans of Color are better off today than they were before his presidency! He thinks that race relations are better off today thanks to his presidency. Not only do I completely reject this outright, I actually dwell on the state of the black population in America today versus pre-civil war days. Already I can hear the race baiting poverty pimps that aspire to be like Al Sharpton calling me a racist and that I can't possibly talk about the state of People of Color in America today because Im white and I sure as hell better not be trying to talk about Pre-Civil War Blacks! However many the criticisms against having this discussion, it MUST be had! But how could anyone think for even a nano-second that Black people are worse off today than when they were enslaved pre-1865? How could anyone even conceive the notion that black people may have been better off during their enslavement?
In order to begin answering these questions, one must be willing to entertain the notion that Black People in America today are by far and large being put at a disadvantage by those that they perceive to be protecting them! That enslaved blacks struggled to be individuals and be free but their spirits were much better off than today!
But how could anyone think for even a nano-second that Black people are worse off today than when they were enslaved pre-1865? Just look at every segment of our society that is concentrated with black people. These are areas where crime is high, the economy is low. Households are broken. Young are raised by far and large by single parents or other relatives due to one or both parents in jail or worse, dead! We have a justice system that is inherently biased against blacks for the pure and simple fact that its just easier for police to catch criminals in the inner cities. Its just easier for the impoverished black person to be hauled into court and be convicted only having a public defender as a defense. The liberal leadership in these communities are constantly casting a massive shadow of doubt and despair among the people with their cries of racism and police corruption and that they walk around with targets on their back. That Big Government is the only way that they wont be killed or end up starving and homeless. They are given a dumbed down education in order for the state to give off the appearance that they are educating these at risk teens. They get out in the real world more than likely already having experience committing crimes. They are more likely than not forced to check off that box that says Im a convicted felon for having the misfortune of being caught with drugs or caught with someone else that had drugs. They are coddled and told they are victims all their lives and to always run to the government at the very first sign of perceived injustice. They are taught that Affirmative Action was enacted as a form of reparation for the enslavement of their ancestors which they never knew nor personally experienced. They are raised in a public education system to hate the white man for enslavement in America even though sufficient evidence suggests that the very first slave owner in the 1600s was a black man himself. Our government welfare system is rigged to keep families apart. More help and more money and more benefits go to those single mothers who have multiple kids. Even our IRS contributes to this by granting larger tax incentives to those who file as if they are separated. Even as we have our first black (ok half black) president in Barack Obama, a Black Attorney General Eric Holder, Susan Rice, etc. even as black people are at the top talent in our sports of Football, Basketball, even as Rap and R&B have made many black Americans wealthy beyond comprehension, they are still told that America is a racist country and that they need to continue supporting Big Government in order for them to come closer to "equality".
How could anyone even conceive the notion that black people may have been better off during their enslavement? Yes they were enslaved! Yes many were beaten! Yes many died as a result of their inhumane treatment! Yes they were denied basic human rights! However, no matter what the slave masters did, those slaves held on to their spirit. They held on tight to their families. They held on to their dreams of freedom. They held on to independence and individuality. They held on to their dignity. Those that were fortunate to escape, craved an education. They craved owning land. They craved earning a living of their own. Cow towing to their masters was more of an exception rather than the rule. Can people honestly say these things about most of the black population today?
This discussion must take place, not only in the realm of blogs, not only in politics, but in our own homes! We must become comfortable talking about race and how minorities are being taken for a ride and how their entire lives are devolving right before their eyes as they are being swallowed whole surrounded by all the empty promises of Big Government. Join me in restoring the spirit that the slaves of our past had, in restoring the desire for independence, for freedom, for FAMILY!

#BlackLivesMatter Lets Have A Conversation!
I think it is past time that we have a national conversation about how much #BlackLivesMatter to America and Americans. If you believe the mainstream media stories from MSNBC, CNN, Huffington Post, Daily Kos, Salon, LA Times, NY Times, etc., Young black Americans would be led to believe that there is an increase in the amount of young unarmed black Americans being shot or otherwise killed by Cops. These stories would have you believe that these incidents were caused by nothing more than Racial Profiling and police corruption. These stories would seek to instill in each young Black American the sense of despair, desperation, worthlessness, DANGER.
These stories surrounding the shooting death of Mike Brown by a white Ferguson cop and the "Choke hold" death of Eric Garner in New York City by NYPD cops are all predicated and molded by the failure of the liberal left to convince people and a jury that George Zimmerman racially profiled Trayvon Martin in Florida and shot him dead. The media was caught fabricating evidence put on display on National TV. They were caught portraying Martin as this young black kid who had his whole future ahead of him. They were caught portraying Zimmerman as the racist armed white guy neighborhood watch man until they actually realized that he was a light skinned Latino man. President Obama tried his best to create even more animosity in this otherwise local incident by his "If I had a son" comments. Eric Holder as Attorney General head of the DOJ attempted to nail Zimmerman with Civil Rights Violations. These failed. As a result, every time Zimmerman even as much as gets a traffic ticket, it becomes national news because the liberal mainstream media was not satisfied with the Justice System. They see fit to attempt to make Zimmerman's life a living hell even though he was cleared of all wrong doing by our Justice system.
Immediately following the breaking news of Mike Brown's death at the hands of a white cop, The SJW Elites of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the like chimed in to make sure that anger among the Black Community of Ferguson and abroad was stirred up with no factual information about the incident available. Their goal from day one of this incident was to make sure the social disorder would be guarantied to exceed that of the peaceful protests during and after the Zimmerman trial. They took to social media, to mainstream media TV and Radio to ensure that their inflammatory statements were far reaching and in typical liberal fashion designed to be knee-jerking and emotional to bring about the desired response. As a result, businesses in the community of Ferguson suffered damage and complete destruction accomplishing absolutely NOTHING positive. Instead of attracting the support of a nation, they drew the ire of it. Instead of appealing to the need for unity, they appealed to the destructive nature of liberalism. Instead of recognizing how much has been accomplished to provide a level playing field for all Americans in the last 50 years, they brought shame to their own people.
There are so many institutions across this country that have seen great enrichment due to the drive and passion that Young Black Americans have displayed. Take my home state of Kentucky. The University of Kentucky Wildcats Basketball program has for more than a Decade going on 2 Decades been dominated by mainly Young Black American talent, for about a Decade was even led by Tubby Smith.
Look at this last election, In UTAH of all places, the GOP elected Black American Mia Love to the US House of Representatives. In SOUTH CAROLINA, of all places, the GOP elected Black American Tim Scott to the US Senate.
Here is the meat and potatoes of what I want to convey to ALL Young Black Americans. WE LOVE YOU ALL!! This nation Loves You! This nation represents the greatest opportunity that any black human being has on the planet Earth of being free, of achieving great success, of being an INDIVIDUAL! Cops are NOT out to kill you. I implore you to ignore the race baiting and poverty pimping of individuals like Al Sharpton who owes millions in back taxes to the IRS. Ignore the ramblings of Jesse Jackson as all he encourages you to do is put yourself in danger by rioting and looting when he wont stand by your side. Ignore the attention whoring of people like Shaun King who only seeks to use the pain and perma victimization of your communities brought on by Democrat leadership/media to profit for himself. Again King wont stand by your side if you decide to riot and loot.
For the seemingly unending media attention to only a handful of recent cases, its easy to feel like you as a young Black man/woman has a target on their back. But when you turn off the TV and the Radio and really take a good look around you. You will see and understand just how much good is out there in the world for you. You will see that as long as you obey the law and comply with police that you indeed will not be attacked and killed. You will see that this country is the last vessel of freedom not only for people of color, but for people of ALL Colors. When you stop listening to the hate, to the cries for violence, to those who would hold you down for political expedience, you will truly know what it is like to be a free American. Live your life looking forward, not backward. Live your life based on facts, not on Liberal rhetoric. Live your life constructively not destructively. Live your life responsibly, not irresponsibly gambling on SJW's to bail you out!

The media was caught fabricating evidence put on display on National TV. They were caught portraying Martin as this young black kid who had his whole future ahead of him. They were caught portraying Zimmerman as the racist armed white guy neighborhood watch man until they actually realized that he was a light skinned Latino man. President Obama tried his best to create even more animosity in this otherwise local incident by his "If I had a son" comments. Eric Holder as Attorney General head of the DOJ attempted to nail Zimmerman with Civil Rights Violations. These failed. As a result, every time Zimmerman even as much as gets a traffic ticket, it becomes national news because the liberal mainstream media was not satisfied with the Justice System. They see fit to attempt to make Zimmerman's life a living hell even though he was cleared of all wrong doing by our Justice system.
Immediately following the breaking news of Mike Brown's death at the hands of a white cop, The SJW Elites of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the like chimed in to make sure that anger among the Black Community of Ferguson and abroad was stirred up with no factual information about the incident available. Their goal from day one of this incident was to make sure the social disorder would be guarantied to exceed that of the peaceful protests during and after the Zimmerman trial. They took to social media, to mainstream media TV and Radio to ensure that their inflammatory statements were far reaching and in typical liberal fashion designed to be knee-jerking and emotional to bring about the desired response. As a result, businesses in the community of Ferguson suffered damage and complete destruction accomplishing absolutely NOTHING positive. Instead of attracting the support of a nation, they drew the ire of it. Instead of appealing to the need for unity, they appealed to the destructive nature of liberalism. Instead of recognizing how much has been accomplished to provide a level playing field for all Americans in the last 50 years, they brought shame to their own people.
There are so many institutions across this country that have seen great enrichment due to the drive and passion that Young Black Americans have displayed. Take my home state of Kentucky. The University of Kentucky Wildcats Basketball program has for more than a Decade going on 2 Decades been dominated by mainly Young Black American talent, for about a Decade was even led by Tubby Smith.
Look at this last election, In UTAH of all places, the GOP elected Black American Mia Love to the US House of Representatives. In SOUTH CAROLINA, of all places, the GOP elected Black American Tim Scott to the US Senate.
Here is the meat and potatoes of what I want to convey to ALL Young Black Americans. WE LOVE YOU ALL!! This nation Loves You! This nation represents the greatest opportunity that any black human being has on the planet Earth of being free, of achieving great success, of being an INDIVIDUAL! Cops are NOT out to kill you. I implore you to ignore the race baiting and poverty pimping of individuals like Al Sharpton who owes millions in back taxes to the IRS. Ignore the ramblings of Jesse Jackson as all he encourages you to do is put yourself in danger by rioting and looting when he wont stand by your side. Ignore the attention whoring of people like Shaun King who only seeks to use the pain and perma victimization of your communities brought on by Democrat leadership/media to profit for himself. Again King wont stand by your side if you decide to riot and loot.
For the seemingly unending media attention to only a handful of recent cases, its easy to feel like you as a young Black man/woman has a target on their back. But when you turn off the TV and the Radio and really take a good look around you. You will see and understand just how much good is out there in the world for you. You will see that as long as you obey the law and comply with police that you indeed will not be attacked and killed. You will see that this country is the last vessel of freedom not only for people of color, but for people of ALL Colors. When you stop listening to the hate, to the cries for violence, to those who would hold you down for political expedience, you will truly know what it is like to be a free American. Live your life looking forward, not backward. Live your life based on facts, not on Liberal rhetoric. Live your life constructively not destructively. Live your life responsibly, not irresponsibly gambling on SJW's to bail you out!
