It came to no surprise to find out that the current KY-6 Rep to the US House of Representatives Andy Barr has a failing Liberty Score grade! An F!! But what came as a surprise is that he has a LOWER score than Senator Mitch McConnell! Only 2 points better than Speaker John Boehner! The State of #Blacks Today in #America vs #Slavery Days
President Obama would have you believe that Americans of Color are better off today than they were before his presidency! He thinks that race relations are better off today thanks to his presidency. Not only do I completely reject this outright, I actually dwell on the state of the black population in America today versus pre-civil war days. Already I can hear the race baiting poverty pimps that aspire to be like Al Sharpton calling me a racist and that I can't possibly talk about the state of People of Color in America today because Im white and I sure as hell better not be trying to talk about Pre-Civil War Blacks! However many the criticisms against having this discussion, it MUST be had! But how could anyone think for even a nano-second that Black people are worse off today than when they were enslaved pre-1865? How could anyone even conceive the notion that black people may have been better off during their enslavement?
In order to begin answering these questions, one must be willing to entertain the notion that Black People in America today are by far and large being put at a disadvantage by those that they perceive to be protecting them! That enslaved blacks struggled to be individuals and be free but their spirits were much better off than today!
But how could anyone think for even a nano-second that Black people are worse off today than when they were enslaved pre-1865? Just look at every segment of our society that is concentrated with black people. These are areas where crime is high, the economy is low. Households are broken. Young are raised by far and large by single parents or other relatives due to one or both parents in jail or worse, dead! We have a justice system that is inherently biased against blacks for the pure and simple fact that its just easier for police to catch criminals in the inner cities. Its just easier for the impoverished black person to be hauled into court and be convicted only having a public defender as a defense. The liberal leadership in these communities are constantly casting a massive shadow of doubt and despair among the people with their cries of racism and police corruption and that they walk around with targets on their back. That Big Government is the only way that they wont be killed or end up starving and homeless. They are given a dumbed down education in order for the state to give off the appearance that they are educating these at risk teens. They get out in the real world more than likely already having experience committing crimes. They are more likely than not forced to check off that box that says Im a convicted felon for having the misfortune of being caught with drugs or caught with someone else that had drugs. They are coddled and told they are victims all their lives and to always run to the government at the very first sign of perceived injustice. They are taught that Affirmative Action was enacted as a form of reparation for the enslavement of their ancestors which they never knew nor personally experienced. They are raised in a public education system to hate the white man for enslavement in America even though sufficient evidence suggests that the very first slave owner in the 1600s was a black man himself. Our government welfare system is rigged to keep families apart. More help and more money and more benefits go to those single mothers who have multiple kids. Even our IRS contributes to this by granting larger tax incentives to those who file as if they are separated. Even as we have our first black (ok half black) president in Barack Obama, a Black Attorney General Eric Holder, Susan Rice, etc. even as black people are at the top talent in our sports of Football, Basketball, even as Rap and R&B have made many black Americans wealthy beyond comprehension, they are still told that America is a racist country and that they need to continue supporting Big Government in order for them to come closer to "equality".

Those that were fortunate to escape, craved an education. They craved owning land. They craved earning a living of their own. Cow towing to their masters was more of an exception rather than the rule. Can people honestly say these things about most of the black population today?
This discussion must take place, not only in the realm of blogs, not only in politics, but in our own homes! We must become comfortable talking about race and how minorities are being taken for a ride and how their entire lives are devolving right before their eyes as they are being swallowed whole surrounded by all the empty promises of Big Government. Join me in restoring the spirit that the slaves of our past had, in restoring the desire for independence, for freedom, for FAMILY!

#AndyBarr vs #ThomasMassie vote analysis for 2013 Complete!
So I have taken the painstaking process of thumbing through 238 votes taken in the US House of Representatives in 2013 between KY-6 Rep Andy Barr and KY-4 Rep Thomas Massie. I chose the comparison with Massie because he is considered a trusted Tea Party Republican and I wanted to see how Barr's Votes stacked up against each other. The results were not surprising in the least. 22.69% of the time, Barr voted the opposite of Massie. That was a total of 54 times that Barr differed with Massie. This means about 77.31% of the time they voted the same. This also means that 22.69% of the time, Barr voted against the tea party. During this vote analysis, it became apparent that when ever a bill would only receive 2-5 no votes, that Massie and Michigan Representative Justin Amash would be together voting no! Also only a handful of votes came up where Massie voted the opposite of Amash. If the voting comparison between Barr and Massie were placed on an academic grading scale of 100, Andy Barr would receive a C grade for voting with the Tea Party! To me this is simply unacceptable of a fiscal constitutional conservative in congress. This is why I am wanting to wage a challenge to Andy Barr in 2016 because the sixth district of Kentucky deserves to have someone that will keep their word like Thomas Massie has as a fiscal constitutional conservative!

Liberal Karma regarding the #Siege in #Sydney #Australia!
As we know by now, a "lone-wolf" attack on a Lindt Chocolate shop in Sydney Australia was carried out during December 14-15th. This attack which saw between 15-20 hostages taken by armed radical Muslim Jihadist! We saw on the media images of hostages being forced to hold against a window of a black flag that no doubt was a message of Jihad! During this tragic incident, Liberals were already at work to marginalize this incident by tweeting and facebooking that this does not reflect true Islam and that we should not see this individual as representing true Muslim which they continue to tout the farce that is known as the "Religion of Peace". They beg for people not to become "Islamaphobists" The "lone-wolf" was killed along with 2 of the innocent hostages. The following is what I propose would be KARMA coming to America for not outright rejecting and throwing out the window the train wreck that is Political Correctness along with its continued infringement on our Second Amendment rights.
At 11:03 AM on April 3rd 2015, A masked gunman entered a Starbucks cafe in San Francisco, CA. immediately taking everyone hostage. Screams of praise to Allah and demands of Muslim conversions took place. San Francisco PD and California Highway Patrol quickly gathered outside as to best figure out how they can end this situation in the most politically correct manner as to not draw the ire of Obama's DOJ! Having learned how the PD's of Ferguson/St. Louis and NYPD were thrown under the bus by Obama and their respective elected leaders, they wanted to make sure they did not harm nor offend the Muslim Jihadist currently forcing American hostages to hold a black flag up to a window in Starbucks for all of the media of which outlets like CNN and MSNBC will censor for political correctness. FoxNews and alternative media outlets like Vice News and InfoWars will be the only outlets to cover this incident from beginning to ending! CNN and MSNBC will show flashes of the incident while having commentary from SJW's about the abuse of Police officers when it comes to minorities including Muslims. GUNSHOTS ring out as someone apparently did not convert to Islam as demanded. A little girl begins to cry out in pain and distress as she is currently being raped as is allowed by the Muslim religion. At this point Nancy Pelosi is on C-Span and National Media attempting to calm the fears of the people in her district pleading for tolerance for the Muslims and issuing warnings about not attacking people over this incident. MORE gunshots as yet another person refuses to convert to Islam. Remarkably the police still have not formulated a plan to bring this tragic incident to an end. Protests have already set up shop just down the road from the Starbucks shop but not against the Jihadist inside Starbucks which has already raped one little girl and killed two others, but against the cops for showing up in mass numbers as they no doubt believe that since he is just one, they should not be many! It is worth noting at this point that NO ONE inside other than the jihadist is in possession of a firearm. Starbucks long standing policy of being anti-second amendment and the media's slander of responsible conceal carry citizens has discouraged anyone from entering Starbucks with a concealed weapon. After demands for military withdrawal from the middle east are ignored, a 30 Second constant round of gun fire is heard from inside the Starbucks, about 20 seconds into this melee, the police finally decide to go inside to apprehend the jihadist. In the end, 23 people are killed including 2 police officers. The jihadist is taken into custody receiving serious but not life threatening wounds. The little girl is impregnated during her rape. Liberal SJW's act on multiple fronts. One being to immediately encourage the little girl whose mother was killed in the attack to have an abortion. The other being that they urge Obama to call this a work place violence incident and a "lone-wolf" attack as to avoid labeling this what it actually was which was an act of TERRORISM! In the days following, the pundits and Democrat politicians like Chris Murphy of Connecticut will tell people that more guns is not the answer and that this incident more illustrates the need to ban assault weapons! Moms Demand groups will undoubtedly use this tragic incident to further push for more violations of our Second Amendment rights.

#BlackLivesMatter Lets Have A Conversation!
I think it is past time that we have a national conversation about how much #BlackLivesMatter to America and Americans. If you believe the mainstream media stories from MSNBC, CNN, Huffington Post, Daily Kos, Salon, LA Times, NY Times, etc., Young black Americans would be led to believe that there is an increase in the amount of young unarmed black Americans being shot or otherwise killed by Cops. These stories would have you believe that these incidents were caused by nothing more than Racial Profiling and police corruption. These stories would seek to instill in each young Black American the sense of despair, desperation, worthlessness, DANGER.
These stories surrounding the shooting death of Mike Brown by a white Ferguson cop and the "Choke hold" death of Eric Garner in New York City by NYPD cops are all predicated and molded by the failure of the liberal left to convince people and a jury that George Zimmerman racially profiled Trayvon Martin in Florida and shot him dead. The media was caught fabricating evidence put on display on National TV. They were caught portraying Martin as this young black kid who had his whole future ahead of him. They were caught portraying Zimmerman as the racist armed white guy neighborhood watch man until they actually realized that he was a light skinned Latino man. President Obama tried his best to create even more animosity in this otherwise local incident by his "If I had a son" comments. Eric Holder as Attorney General head of the DOJ attempted to nail Zimmerman with Civil Rights Violations. These failed. As a result, every time Zimmerman even as much as gets a traffic ticket, it becomes national news because the liberal mainstream media was not satisfied with the Justice System. They see fit to attempt to make Zimmerman's life a living hell even though he was cleared of all wrong doing by our Justice system.
Immediately following the breaking news of Mike Brown's death at the hands of a white cop, The SJW Elites of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the like chimed in to make sure that anger among the Black Community of Ferguson and abroad was stirred up with no factual information about the incident available. Their goal from day one of this incident was to make sure the social disorder would be guarantied to exceed that of the peaceful protests during and after the Zimmerman trial. They took to social media, to mainstream media TV and Radio to ensure that their inflammatory statements were far reaching and in typical liberal fashion designed to be knee-jerking and emotional to bring about the desired response. As a result, businesses in the community of Ferguson suffered damage and complete destruction accomplishing absolutely NOTHING positive. Instead of attracting the support of a nation, they drew the ire of it. Instead of appealing to the need for unity, they appealed to the destructive nature of liberalism. Instead of recognizing how much has been accomplished to provide a level playing field for all Americans in the last 50 years, they brought shame to their own people.
There are so many institutions across this country that have seen great enrichment due to the drive and passion that Young Black Americans have displayed. Take my home state of Kentucky. The University of Kentucky Wildcats Basketball program has for more than a Decade going on 2 Decades been dominated by mainly Young Black American talent, for about a Decade was even led by Tubby Smith.
Look at this last election, In UTAH of all places, the GOP elected Black American Mia Love to the US House of Representatives. In SOUTH CAROLINA, of all places, the GOP elected Black American Tim Scott to the US Senate.
Here is the meat and potatoes of what I want to convey to ALL Young Black Americans. WE LOVE YOU ALL!! This nation Loves You! This nation represents the greatest opportunity that any black human being has on the planet Earth of being free, of achieving great success, of being an INDIVIDUAL! Cops are NOT out to kill you. I implore you to ignore the race baiting and poverty pimping of individuals like Al Sharpton who owes millions in back taxes to the IRS. Ignore the ramblings of Jesse Jackson as all he encourages you to do is put yourself in danger by rioting and looting when he wont stand by your side. Ignore the attention whoring of people like Shaun King who only seeks to use the pain and perma victimization of your communities brought on by Democrat leadership/media to profit for himself. Again King wont stand by your side if you decide to riot and loot.
For the seemingly unending media attention to only a handful of recent cases, its easy to feel like you as a young Black man/woman has a target on their back. But when you turn off the TV and the Radio and really take a good look around you. You will see and understand just how much good is out there in the world for you. You will see that as long as you obey the law and comply with police that you indeed will not be attacked and killed. You will see that this country is the last vessel of freedom not only for people of color, but for people of ALL Colors. When you stop listening to the hate, to the cries for violence, to those who would hold you down for political expedience, you will truly know what it is like to be a free American. Live your life looking forward, not backward. Live your life based on facts, not on Liberal rhetoric. Live your life constructively not destructively. Live your life responsibly, not irresponsibly gambling on SJW's to bail you out!

My #Immigration #Amnesty Plan A Common Sense solution
What President Obama has done is precisely the opposite of what I would call Common Sense.
Here are my simple suggestions for resolving this Democrat led Illegal Immigration crisis.
1) SECURE THE BORDERS
Nothing is going to get resolved until we can secure our obviously porous borders. What is the point of granting Amnesty when in 10-20 years we will end up with the exact same problems again?
2) STRICTLY ENFORCE CURRENT LAWS
We already have many immigration laws on the books and President Obama missed a great opportunity to use an executive order to have these laws enforced! What good is Amnesty if we aren't going to make sure that the laws are enacted to prevent this crisis from happening again?
3) TURN OFF ALL ILLEGAL ALIEN MAGNETS
There are far too many government programs in place that are attracting these illegals to risk their lives to cross the border. Its as simple as this, don't give them a reason to think coming here illegally is worth their life. Public resources should only be available to those who are here legally and pay taxes!
4) BRING US TROOPS HOME TO SECURE BORDERS
Too many times politicians complain about the costs of securing our borders as an excuse to continue allowing these criminals to continue invading our country. Bring our troops home from the middle east, and use them to do what they are constitutionally supposed to be doing in the first place which is defending our people, our homeland.

Illegals in this country that do become US Citizens shall be denied the privilege of participating in our Democratic voting process at all levels. They denied themselves the perks and privileges of being a US Citizen when they decided to cross the US Border illegally.
7) NO RUNNING FOR OFFICE
Illegals that do become citizens shall not ever be allowed to hold public office or serving on our School Boards. To do so would send the message that crime pays. To do so would be to allow criminals to affect our education system.
8) MUST SPEAK ENGLISH TO COMMUNICATE WITH GOVERNMENT
Illegals wishing to become citizens must demonstrate the capability of speaking and reading English to at least the 8th grade level. Our Government wastes millions every year duplicating documentation in other languages and paying interpreters to cater to those who refuse to speak the language that is taught in ALL our Schools.
I do not feel that these suggestions are in any way Racist or Inhumane! These are common sense solutions that both are in the spirit of recognizing the US Constitution, and Preserving American Culture!
Here are my simple suggestions for resolving this Democrat led Illegal Immigration crisis.
1) SECURE THE BORDERS
Nothing is going to get resolved until we can secure our obviously porous borders. What is the point of granting Amnesty when in 10-20 years we will end up with the exact same problems again?
2) STRICTLY ENFORCE CURRENT LAWS
We already have many immigration laws on the books and President Obama missed a great opportunity to use an executive order to have these laws enforced! What good is Amnesty if we aren't going to make sure that the laws are enacted to prevent this crisis from happening again?
3) TURN OFF ALL ILLEGAL ALIEN MAGNETS
There are far too many government programs in place that are attracting these illegals to risk their lives to cross the border. Its as simple as this, don't give them a reason to think coming here illegally is worth their life. Public resources should only be available to those who are here legally and pay taxes!
4) BRING US TROOPS HOME TO SECURE BORDERS
Too many times politicians complain about the costs of securing our borders as an excuse to continue allowing these criminals to continue invading our country. Bring our troops home from the middle east, and use them to do what they are constitutionally supposed to be doing in the first place which is defending our people, our homeland.

What if we had a #Hollywood version of the #ACA aka #Obamacare!
As we hear more and more about how the Democrats lied, via Jonathan Gruber, We keep seeing the "stupidity of the American voter" liberal left wing lunatics in Hollywood continue to defend the Affordable Care Act which we know by now is not affordable, not care, but definitely an act. Here is what I propose! The Affordable Movie Act!
The Government could say that studies show that Americans are happier when they can have affordable access to movies in a theater, and 3D movies at home! In response to this study, they deem it necessary that every American see no less than 3 movies in a theater per year and purchase at least one 3D movie for home viewing. They will sell this law under the premise that it will raise the moral of the nation since they say they will be happier. They will mandate this using the IRS. The President will come out multiple times and tell you, if you like your actors and actresses, you can keep them in your movies. The President will also tell you that they will make a special website in which you can use to purchase your movie tickets in advance so that you will be able to walk right through the doors and into the movie. Congress will hold little debate on this law. They will also fail to read this law! One party of congress will pass this law without a single vote from the other party.
Hollywood would catch wind of this law and all the writers and actors guilds will demand that they, their families be exempt from this law. The President, Congress, Supreme Court members will also be exempt from being forced to patron their theaters and buy movies to watch at home! The Government will place a limit on the amount of money that Theaters will be able to take in from ticket sales. Popcorn, snack food, drink prices will also be regulated as the government has deemed that all Americans benefit from consuming those items in concert with watching the movie. As proof of compliance, Americans will have to make copies of their ticket stubs and receipt from consumables purchased at the theater as well as proof that a movie was purchased for home viewing and attach those to their IRS annual tax paperwork.
The Government will spend nearly a billion dollars constructing the website designed to make ticket purchasing easier and promoting that site on social media, sports games etc. The website will crash many times and when it does work, it will tell others what you chose to go see. You expect your choice of movies to be kept private and confidential. Anti-Virus experts and companies will label Moviecare.com to be a Hacker's wet dream. Hundreds of thousands of identities are stolen as a result.
Critics of Moviecare.com will be labeled by the mainstream media such as CNN, MSNBC, Huffington Post, Salon, LA Times, as racist, sexist, misogynistic, etc. They will claim that they dont want Americans to be happy and that they don't want the poor to be able to watch movies. They will claim that this law will create more jobs. They claim that watching Movies and owning movies is a right and condemn people for making a profit!
Theaters will start to go out of business as a result. First it will be the small mom and pop two screen theaters that aired classic movies based on changing genres and themes. Then you will see the small companies that provide consumables for the patrons to enjoy their movie with go out of business. This will leave only the mega theaters and the big corporate popcorn, soda, candy, snack providers in business as they will be able to afford to adjust their business models to all the thousands of new regulations.
As Americans begin scrambling to find a theater at various times of the year, you will see long waits to see movies. Theaters will begin to close their doors to the public due to lack of profits, poor quality of films being produced by Hollywood due to the lack of competition, and because they cannot afford to pay the big corporations that provide them with consumables. Private Organizations that used to provide subsidies for movie tickets would be abolished by the new law. Questionnaires will be required to be filled out after each movie in order for that movie to count toward your requirement for the year. They will include completely irrelevant and offensive questions such as do you have a gun in your home, or if you use lube when you have sex. Failure to answer ALL questions will result in that movie not counting. Questions answered a certain way may put that person at risk for an audit by the IRS or in certain circumstances, a No Knock SWAT raid!
The public will demand to know if this law is working by seeing numbers of Americans who have become happier and trivially smarter by having to go see and own movies. The government will lie about approval ratings and lie about improved numbers. Election time comes around and the Government will issue a gag order about the real numbers or how much movie tickets will go up as a result until after the elections. Those exemptions for the Writers and Actors will expire after the President is re-elected. The media will stay silent and protect the President even at the expense of their journalistic integrity.
Americans will begin to notice that while they are paying a higher price for their tickets and consumables, that others will pay little to nothing for theirs. They will experience more crowded conditions and more rudeness from those who perhaps didn't pay as much and therefore dont really have the same level of appreciation and respect for others as those that paid full price. Actors and Writers will begin to see the Government dictating the terms of their contract. The Government will require that they be involved in X amount of movies per year and begin to see limits placed upon their pay. Actors and Writers will cease to make movies for Hollywood. They will take their craft underground and become a concierge service providers off the books. Movie quality will take a steep nose dive as only those with very little talent and experience will remain.
It will come out that those involved with crafting this law will say that this law passed due to the "Stupidity of the American Voter" and that this law was written in a torturous manner as to keep the CBO from scoring it appropriately. Those politicians that voted for this law will disavow knowing anyone that actually crafted this law.
Maybe Hollywood actors/actresses, writers, directors, etc. will think about this before opening their self righteous pie holes in defense of the Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare.

Hey #FEC, I DARE YOU TO REGULATE ME
I hear that the Democrats want the FEC to start controlling and regulating all sites that post news links and put out political content. This is not only a gross violation of the first amendment freedom of the press, but also the Freedom of Speech clause in the First Amendment. This is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. This is yet more Democrat desperation to attempt to hang on to their tyrannical power in DC. They love to silence dissent. They would love nothing more than to have bloggers like me licensed so that they can control my content and revoke my license if they see fit in order to control the flow of information to the masses. They already have the mainstream media news sources in their control. But they have no control over the increasing popularity of Alternate or New Media sources such as bloggers/podcasters like myself and that is unacceptable to them. I welcome them to try to silence me because this Irvine Patriot is never going to conform to their agenda and will always tell the truth regardless to whose political ideology it exposes.

Is Unconditional Love Real?
Have you ever heard someone tell
you that they love their husband or their wife or their child or even you
unconditionally? Have you been tempted
to say it yourself? I know I have said
it and at the time actually felt like I meant it. Everything's conditional. We will get back to that in just a
moment. First I would like to ask you
some more questions. Have you ever heard
someone tell you that you need to be more tolerant of other people's culture,
religion, or even someone's sexual orientation?
Have you ever been told that everyone should pull together to make sure
their fellow man is taken care of?
Lastly I want to ask you do you feel guilty at all for personal
successes and achievements and the rewards reaped as a result? Everything's conditional.
I
want to stop right here and explain a little bit about myself. I was born in 1980 in
Fort Knox, KY. I was born destined to
live as an Army brat. Now in case you
are unfamiliar with the term, it simply means a child whose parent(s) are in
the army and end up moving everywhere their parents do. My stays included Delaware, Mississippi,
Arizona, Virginia and finally winding up back in Kentucky. Never staying more than 5 years in any one
area did not exactly allow me to develop meaningful relationships with any of
my peers. When I began my freshman year
in high school, I spoke with an almost non existent accent to my voice. People found it hard to understand anything
that I said and equally found it hard for me to understand the thick accent in
which my peers projected. It was never
easy on me making friends regardless of where we were living. I never understood why it was always harder
on me than others or even my two brothers to successfully interact with others
without a constant fear in my head that I was going to be rejected. This problem continued throughout not only my
life in school but out in the real world as well. I had always assumed that there is just
simply some defect within myself that was always the cause of my social
awkwardness.
I had always felt that the same
defect had caused me to never want to compete against someone else for fear of
seeing them lose and how bad I would end up feeling. I had also felt that the same defect was the
cause of the failures of all my relationships with women.
For
eight years I had served as a volunteer firefighter and that same defect always
kept me from being someone that everyone could depend on, the “go to guy”. It didn't matter how many hours of training I
put in or if I scored better or knew the material better than everyone else, it
just was not enough. I eventually became
an emergency medical technician at the basic level in the state of Kentucky. There where plenty of reasons why one would
not particularly care to be an EMT. It
has the possibility of long unusual hours and almost always low rate of
pay. I became an EMT because I felt that
my whole entire life I have been under the thumb of everyone else. I was either always doing something because
someone told me to or because they would rather see me do it than
themselves. I was always in someone's
shadow no matter if they deserved the spotlight or not. However my work as an EMT revealed to me two
things about me and life in general. The
first is that everyone has an agenda.
The second is that everything's conditional.
I
want to return to the subject of unconditional love or what I now know as love
that does not exist. Every relationship
that begins begins with an interest.
Every one has an agenda that they work off of when determining how far
if at all they allow the relationship to go.
There are no exceptions to this as no one on this earth is capable of
going from nothing to love without conditions being met. Even parents are guilty of having to have
conditions met before they can love their own offspring. I know that the very thought of what I just
said would immediately set off any well meaning parent. If an honest person were to examine
themselves they would realize that events had to take place before love could
occur. I mean I have never heard a
mother or a father say they love a child that has not been conceived. Event one has to be that the woman becomes
successfully pregnant. If even one event
has to be successfully met in order for love to be possible then that love was
conditional. Does conditional love mean
any less than unconditional love? I
would not feel that way. What I would
hope to expose to readers of this book is to the greater appreciation of the
conditions met in order for love to be successful. I would even be bold enough to say that an
admission of conditional love over unconditional love would have much more
meaning due to the honesty that must take place. The word honest is something that is merely
thrown around these days. Much like a
man's handshake or a man's word, it does not mean what it used to. It takes honesty and integrity to build a
quality relationship resulting in love.
It takes even more to make that relationship last. I have realized throughout the failures of my
relationships with women is that no matter how much respect and courtesy I
would extend to them, it was worthless unless I was giving them the real Virgil
Edwards. I have to admit that while the
respect and courtesy I would show is very much a part of me, what I didn't show
them was the playful side of me that I had always felt was immature and would
simply go away with age. I didn't show
them the side of me that quite frankly does not need to be in detail here. Each relationship lasted only as long as
conditions were being met.
As soon as I was unable to satisfy
the other person's agenda or they found someone that could I was history. However even with this revelation I knew that
I did not quite have the whole picture.
I began to understand that if everyone has to have conditions and a
personal agenda, then perhaps in order to better interact with everyone around
me, I too must have conditions and a personal agenda. My whole life I always saw people and never
had any real expectations of how they should act around me or how I should act
around them. I remember when I was young
and living in Virginia, I would have this mentality about people that would
cause me to think that perhaps I was the only one that was real and everyone
else was just there. Have you ever
looked at a person in another vehicle on the road and knew especially if they
were going in the opposite direction as you that you knew you would never see them
again and therefore never had any expectations?
That is how I looked at each person I would come across. I looked at people as if they were
robots. You never looked at your vacuum
cleaner and expected it to plug itself up and clean on its own. That is how I looked at people. I had no expectations of how they should
treat me or how I should treat them. I
never set any conditions on which people interacted with me. I never looked at people then and said if this
person does not fit what I expect out of them then I would not have anything to
do with them. I often found myself alone
as a child because I did not expect others to want anything to do with me. I did not expect others to feel the need to
have me around. I never was able to make
the connection that if I did not interact or interject myself around others I
had no real expectation of being surrounded by others. We all have conditions that must be met in
order for us to successfully interact with others. We all have personal agendas that we expect
others to adhere to or agree with in order for us to successfully interact with
